Water, the source of life of natural habitats and man-made spaces, is at the origin of the inspiration for the design. Like a dragonfly, the building alights on the banks of the stream, embracing the spontaneous vegetation that emerges from its centre. Earth, air and water separate the two main opposing spaces, which are then reunited through the communicative momentum of the bridge which connects them in an aerial way, overcoming the river´s indentation in the earth. Two spaces, two houses, two areas, two distinct identities linked by the soul and light magic of a bridge, like two spouses with two distinct names and a single surname. The water from the tip of the toes to the tip of the eyes: in the centre of the bridge there is the important relationship between the water that flows under the feet and the vision of the pristine marine expanse of the Vendicari reserve located to the east.
