The cube, an enigmatic object and autarchically alien to the context, is camouflaged this time, thanks to the use of local rock. The cube, historically an emblematic place of Arab-Fatimid architecture in Sicily dedicated to amusements, today through the primitive rendering of the shapeless rock suggests to its inhabitants alternative ways of life to those of the daily routine, in a rediscovered harmony with the surrounding nature. The closed and impenetrable character of the square shaped space is lightened by the sometimes large openings and the lively movement of the staircase. While the small cubes leaning against the natural relief of the ground leave the gaze free towards the horizon, resulting in a system of terraces arranged on 4 levels.
