The kitchen console reflects and absorbs light in a play of faded shadows and, just like a "hedge", it symbolically encircles the impassable alchemy in which water, fire, air and earth come together.
Functionality and usefulness extend their meaning around the luminous fulcrum of the suspended monolith, a material yet transparent object in that it does not belong to a defined place.
